Oxnead and Brampton


 Managed to go out and get pics for a future article snowdrops and aconites at  Oxnead and Brampton. Sadly, Brampton church closed.

The the proud Paston tomb in the sanctuary at Oxnead reveals Tudor confidence. The romanesque west arch sugggests an early (Saxon) build. Bricks from Roman to modern era including Tudor everywhere. There was a big Roman settlement on the other side of the river
